poetry
Mountain Top in the Marketplace comprises a collection of personal poems delving into themes such as cross-cultural identity, the pursuit of meaning and belonging, mysticism, and post-metaphysical explorations. Over the course of more than a decade, these poems were penned in diverse locations across the globe. The journey took the author from vibrant cafes in Kathmandu to the tranquil peaks of Machu Picchu, from ethereal ashrams in India to bustling London markets, and from misty Sonoma County shores to rainy Reykjavik streets.
Within its pages, the book chronicles the author's quest to uncover a sense of home and a search for belonging, all while confronting life's poignant realities. This work interweaves narratives that fuse traditional origins with modernity, presenting a recurring theme of disillusionment and subsequent rediscovery—a tale of shedding the illusions of individual separation and finding joy in the mundane moments of existence.
At present, the book is undergoing the editorial process in preparation for publication.
