Someday they will understand why you have to go

Though your mind has no answers

Listen to the faint whispers of your heart

Even in a whirlpool of emotions and confusion

Choose a life that is your own

You may not know what lies ahead for you

But know that you are not lost

You may not know where to go or who to become

But know that you are always homeward bound

The faint whispers in your heart are your songs

Waiting to be sung

Do not stop till you sing your song

For your song will bring you home

You may feel that you are alone

Know that it will be true

For only when you are truly alone

You find your blessed company

Someday they will understand and dance to your song

Then you will see that you never left home

Let your heart cry; let your heart break

Let all your emotions run through you

That’s what it takes for your song to come alive

That’s what it takes for you to love yourself

For when you truly love yourself, you will love the whole world

Someday they will understand your aloneness

For they will feel your heart

Through the evil and benevolence of the world

You will merrily sing your song

Your song will guide you; your song will heal you

And one day, you will stare in bewilderment

The boundless mystery that you truly are
