Someday
By Sushant Shrestha
They will understand, someday,
Why you must forge your own path.
Though your mind searches endlessly for answers,
The whispers of your heart hold truth.
Even as emotions swirl like tempests,
And confusion clouds your way,
Choose the life that speaks your name—
It's yours alone to claim.
The road ahead may be uncertain,
But you are not astray.
Your destination may be hidden,
But home lives in your veins.
Those gentle whispers in your heart
Are melodies unsung,
Keep walking till you find your voice
And let your song ring true.
In solitude, you may feel hollow,
Let this truth set you free:
It's in the depths of being alone
That you find who you're meant to be.
One day they'll understand your journey,
And dance to your soul's refrain.
Then you'll see that all along,
You carried home within.
Let tears fall freely, let your heart crack open,
Let every feeling flow through you and show.
This is the price your song demands,
The cost of loving who you are.
For when you embrace yourself completely,
Your love will flood the world.
They'll understand your solitary path
When they feel your heart's deep truth.
Through darkness and through light you'll travel,
Your song forever on your lips.
It will be your compass, be your healing,
Guide you through the mist.
And there will come a day of wonder
When you pause to truly see
The infinite mystery that you are—
A universe set free.
